In June 2005, Foremarke took a holiday weekend in the lovely Welsh surroundings of the Llangollen Railway. Only the engine was invited as to save on transport costs the railway supplied a Collett 4000 gallon tender. This was the first time we had seen our engine with a traditional GWR tender attached. Although the new 7903 emerged from Swindon Works with a Hawksworth tender, archive pictures show that she spent much of her working life with a Collett tender.
